Eligibility for Divorce
To be eligible for a divorce, you need to meet the following;

You and your ex-partner separated 12 months ago and continue to live apart or separately; and

There are no prospects of reconciliation

What Do You Need to File for Divorce
To make a divorce application, you need to provide:

Your marriage certificate;

Funds for your application fee;

If you are a sole filer, you must provide an “Affidavit of Service”as well as an “Acknowledgement of Service” to prove that the respondent was personally served with a divorce notice.

English translation of marriage certificate (if the marriage certificate is in any other language)
Can I Apply for a Reduced Filing Fee?
Yes, you can apply for a reduced filing fee if:
